My husband and I love El Greco! We don't know if it's "authentic" Geek food, if that's what you're looking for. We do know the food is excellent (I get the Souvlaki Chicken plate with rice and potatoes, he gets the Gyro). What tops out the perfect entrees is an order of Feta Cheese Dip with warm pita bread- it's awesome! The owner is very hands on and seems to go out of his way to make customers happy.

Fresh food prepared daily with an excellent and courteous staff. The owner is actually Greek...can't ask for more. Highly Recommend!!

I have been to Greece and this food is the real deal. They make everything by hand. Really nice flavors and a certain quality to the food.

I've been to El Greco several times now and the food has always been outstanding ! The eggplant and garlic dip is delicious, the pita bread is fluffy and warm, the chicken soup is delicious and light with a lemon kick, the vegetable sandwich is made on fresh baked bread loaded up with roasted vegetables and a hearty tomato sauce. But I have to say that my hands down favorite is the chicken gyro sandwitch - I've had it three times now and it's absolutely delicious ! I hope the rest of Austin discovers this new gem and they can stay in business, because this newly opened Greek restaurant is awesome !
